As a local government agency headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, we are responsible for the maintenance and construction of 282 miles of county roadway and 362 county bridges; and upkeep of all county and joint county ditches, drains, retention basins and other watercourses within the public right-of-way.

To meet the continuing development and infrastructure needs of Franklin County, the Engineer's Office utilizes the latest technologies for surveying, land record keeping, and maintaining the property layers of the County Auditor's Interactive Geographic Information System
