The Engineer's Team

In performing the duties of the office, the County Engineer is assisted by 175 engineering, maintenance and administrative personnel. Departments include Project Coordination, Highway Design, Bridge Design, Traffic Engineering, Surveying and Geographic Information Systems, Construction, Highway Maintenance, Bridge Maintenance, Fiscal, Human Resources, and Information Systems.

No employment opportunities are currently available. We do, however, accept applications at anytime and those applications are kept on file for two years from the date of being received.

Funding Sources

The Engineer's Office and its various operations and construction projects are financed through revenues from the Ohio vehicle registration fee, county permissive motor vehicle license tax, and gasoline tax, as well as with state and federal funding. 

The projected 2010 Budget is $62.2 million.
