Highway Maintenance

The Highway Maintenance Department provides for the safe and efficient operation of 276 miles of county roadway. It is the largest department within the Franklin County Engineer's Office, and works from three regional facilities and the 970 Dublin Road Headquarters. Their duties include pavement and berm repair, drain tile installation, roadside mowing, landscaping, and litter control. During the winter months, "Snow Fighter" crews work around the clock to clear nearly 900 lane miles of roads and streets, and supply road salt to 25 communities and public entities. They also install snow fence and administer the corn stalk program to prevent snow drifts.

For additional information, please contact Tom Nutini, Highway Maintenance Superintendent at (614) 462-6034.
