Highway Design

The Highway Design Department coordinates the preparation of construction plans by engineering consultants and our staff, which are required for the construction and maintenance of the county route system. Their work involves developing and awarding  engineering services contracts; reviewing all plans, technical reports and cost proposals; creating plans for county maintenance operations; and implementing quality control standards to meet state and federal regulations.

For more information, please contact Cornell Robertson, P.E., P.S., Highway Design Engineer at (614) 462-3080.
