On the evening of November 18, 2008, the
Franklin County Engineer's Office, in association with the Ohio Department of
Transportation, hosted a public meeting at ARC Industries West to discuss the
proposed replacement of the Dodridge Street Bridge spanning the Olentangy River.
The meeting was conducted in an open-house
format to solicit public opinion about the design of the new bridge. There were
no formal presentations, but engineers representing Franklin
County were present to discuss the project.
