Bridge Design 

The Bridge Design Department provides a variety of engineering services that ensure the safe operation and structural integrity of the county's bridges and culverts. Their duties include managing the production of construction plans and cost estimates prepared by engineering consultants and our staff; inspecting and inventorying bridges and culverts; analyzing hydraulic conditions for ditch petitions and floodway adequacy studies; overseeing of special hauling permits and weight enforcement; and supplying technical assistance to other departments and public entities.
