Georgesville Road Widening and Reconstruction

Managed by the Franklin County Engineer's Office 

Location: North of Sullivant Avenue to West Broad Street.

Description: Widening and reconstruction of Georgesville Road, including the Broad Street intersection, to accommodate two additional lanes and median strips; construction of a water line, storm sewers, curbing, gutters, driveway aprons, sidewalks, and a leisure path; and installation of new street lighting, traffic signage, and signals.

Status: Roadway construction is under way.

Traffic: Two-way travel is being maintained. Motorists, however, should expect slower than normal traffic and possible delays as lanes are restricted.
