Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road and Morse Road Modern Roundabout Construction

 

Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road at Morse Road

Managed by the Franklin County Engineer's Office

Location: Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road and Morse Road intersection.

Description: Reconstruction of the intersection as a single-lane roundabout.

Status: Utility line relocation work is under way

Traffic: Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road and Morse Road will be closed to through traffic. 

The posted detour route for northbound motorists on Reynoldsburg-New Albany will follow Kitzmiller Road north to Dublin-Granville Road and west to Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road. Southbound traffic will follow the detour in the opposite direction.

The posted detour route for westbound motorists on Morse Road will follow Kitzmiller Road north to Dublin-Granville Road, west to Johnstown Road (U.S. Rt. 62), and south to Morse Road. Eastbound traffic will follow the detour in the opposite direction.     

Contractor: To be determined.

Cost: Estimated at $2 million to be funded by Franklin County and private contributors.

Scheduled Completion: Fall 2010.
