Central College Road Bridge Rehabilitation

 

Central College Road Bridge

Managed by the Franklin County Engineer's Office

Location: Over Big Walnut Creek.

Description: Replacement of the deck and superstructure. 

Status: Construction is scheduled to start this spring

Traffic: The roadway will be closed to through traffic.

The posted detour route for eastbound motorists will follow Sunbury Road north to Smothers Road, east to Schott Road, south to Walnut Street, west to Cubbage Road, and south to Central College Road.

Westbound traffic will follow the detour route in the opposite direction.  

Contractor: Complete General Construction Company

Cost: $926,137.09 to be funded by the Federal Highway Administration (ARRA) through the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission.

Scheduled Completion: Summer 2010.
