Alum Creek Drive and Rohr Road Intersection Improvement

 

Alum Creek Drive at Rohr Road

Managed by the Franklin County Engineer's Office

Location: Alum Creek Drive Road at Rohr Road.

Description: Widening of the intersection to accommodate a left turn lane on the north leg of Alum Creek Drive and two left turn lanes on the west leg of Rohr Road.

Status: To built during the 2010 construction season. 

Traffic: Two-way travel will be maintained on Alum Creek Drive. The west leg of Rohr Road will be closed to through traffic.

The posted detour route for westbound motorists on Rohr Road will follow Alum Creek Drive north to Creekside Parkway, and west and south to Rohr Road.

Southbound motorists on Alum Creek Drive wishing to travel west on Rohr Road will the follow the Creekside Parkway detour route.

Northbound motorists on Alum Creek wishing to travel west on Rohr Road will follow Spiegel Drive west to Shook Road, and north to Rohr Road.  

Contractor: To be determined.

Cost: Estimated at $800,000 to be funded by the Federal Highway Administration through the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission.

Scheduled Completion: Fall 2010.
