Morse
Road, East
of Babbitt Road, to be Closed for
Bridge Repair Work
Franklin

, P.E., P.S., Franklin County Engineer, announces that bridge repair work will
require Morse Road, east
of Babbitt Road, to be closed to through traffic for approximately two days
starting Tuesday, January 19, 2010, weather permitting.
“Our
Bridge and Utility Maintenance Department will make repairs to the bridge over
Swisher Creek,” said Dean Ringle. “Drainage problems beneath the roadway, at
both ends of the structure, have caused a heaving of the pavement.”
The
posted detour route for eastbound motorists on Morse Road
will follow Babbitt Road south
to
Clark State Road, and east to Morse Road. Westbound traffic will follow the
detour in the opposite direction.
