Scioto & Darby Creek Road Bridge to be Reopened

Franklin County, Ohio --- Dean C. Ringle , P.E., P.S., Franklin County Engineer, announces that the Scioto & Darby Creek Road Bridge, spanning the CSX Railroad just west of I-270, will be reopened to traffic around 6 o’clock this evening.

“The 40-year-old structure was closed to traffic on July 6 for rehabilitation work,” said Dean Ringle. “Improvements included the replacement of the deck and railings, and superstructure repairs.”

Painting of the steel beams beneath the structure will occur soon.

The Franklin County Engineer’s Office supervised the building of this $538,000 project by The Righter Company.
