Obetz-Reese Road to be Closed for Drainage Repairs

Franklin County, Ohio --- Dean C. Ringle , P.E., P.S., Franklin County Engineer, announces that drainage repair work will require Obetz-Reese Road, between Rathmell Road and Daugherty Road, to be closed to through traffic for approximately three days starting August 31, 2009, weather permitting.

“Our Highway Maintenance Department will replace an insufficient storm sewer pipe beneath Obetz-Reese Road,” said Dean Ringle. “It is our goal to reopen the roadway as quickly as possible.”

The posted detour route for northbound traffic on Obetz-Reese Road will follow Rathmell Road west to Lockbourne Road, north to Obetz Road, and east to Obetz-Reese Road.  Southbound motorists will follow the detour in the opposite direction.
