Norton Road to be Closed for Storm Sewer Repair

Franklin County, Ohio --- Dean C. Ringle , P.E., P.S., Franklin County Engineer, announces that storm sewer repair work will require Norton Road, south of Bausch Road, to be closed to through traffic for approximately four days starting August 4, 2009, weather permitting.

“Our Highway Maintenance Department will replace a collapsed storm sewer pipe beneath Norton Road,” said Dean Ringle. “It is our goal to reopen the roadway as quickly as possible.”

The posted detour route for northbound traffic on Norton Road will follow Kropp Road west and then north to Alkire Road, east to Bausch Road, and east to Norton Road. Southbound motorists will follow the detour in the opposite direction.
