Central College Road to be Closed for Storm Sewer Improvement Work

Franklin County, Ohio --- Dean C. Ringle , P.E., P.S., Franklin County Engineer, announces that storm sewer improvement work will require Central College Road, west of Johnstown Road (U.S. Rt. 62), to be closed to through traffic for approximately four days starting August 17, 2009, weather permitting.

“Our Highway Maintenance Department will replace an insufficient storm sewer pipe beneath Central College Road,” said Dean Ringle. “It is our goal to reopen the roadway as quickly as possible.”

The posted detour route for westbound traffic on Central College Road will follow Johnstown Road (U.S. 62) north to Walnut Street, west to Bevelhymer Road, and south to Central College Road. Eastbound motorists will follow the detour in the opposite direction.
