Meeting to Review Results of Planning Study to Improve Bixby Road
at U.S. Route
33

, P.E., P.S., Franklin County Engineer, in partnership with the Ohio Department
of Transportation, Village of
Groveport, Village of Canal Winchester, Madison Township, and City of Columbus,
announces that a public meeting to discuss the results of a planning study to
determine how the roadway system in the vicinity of Bixby Road at
Columbus-Lancaster Road (U.S. Route 33) could be improved will be held on
Wednesday, September 23, 2009, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Groveport
Recreation Center (Erie Room), 7370 Groveport Road.
“The meeting will be
conducted in an open-house format,” said Dean Ringle. “There will be no
formal presentations, but personnel representing Franklin County and the Ohio
Department of Transportation will be present to discuss how Bixby Road and
nearby thoroughfares in the U.S. Route 33 corridor could be improved to meet
future transportation and land use needs.”
Everyone will have the
opportunity to express their views about the study by submitting a comment form
that will be available during the meeting. The forms can also be downloaded here
