Bevelhymer Road to be Closed for Culvert Replacement

Franklin County, Ohio --- Dean C. Ringle, P.E., P.S., Franklin County Engineer, announces that culvert replacement work will require Bevelhymer Road, south of Walnut Street, to be closed to through traffic for approximately two weeks starting September 14, 2009, weather permitting.

“Our Bridge and Utility Maintenance Department will replace a deteriorated culvert for Plain Township,” said Dean Ringle. “A new pre-cast concrete structure will be installed to improve the integrity of the roadway.”

The posted detour route for northbound traffic on Bevelhymer Road will follow Central College Road west to New Albany–Condit Road (S.R. 605), north to Walnut Street, and east to Bevelhymer Road. Southbound motorists will follow the detour in the opposite direction.
