Rebuilt Alton & Darby Creek Road Reopens on Time

Franklin County , Ohio --- Dean C. Ringle , P.E., P.S., Franklin County Engineer, announces that Alton & Darby Creek Road, between Renner Road and Walker, was reopened on time, this evening, as widening and reconstruction work was completed.

“We improved this section of Alton & Darby Creek Road to meet growing traffic safety and mobility demands,” said Dean Ringle. “Our project involved the widening of the roadway to accommodate left turns at the busy Renner Road and Walker Road intersections, and the installation of new traffic signals, which will be in operation in about two weeks.”

The Franklin County Engineer’s Office supervised the building of this $1.4 million project by the Trucco Construction Company. Funding was provided by Franklin County from motor vehicle registration fees and gasoline tax.
